The explosion of the market linked to mobile telephony, automation, home automation, infotainment systems and automatic driving, the design of drones and 3D printers have brought to the fore the interest in “embedded” technologies. In recent years there has been a progressive increase in the demand for skills in this sector, both in the professional / industrial area and for the community of enthusiasts and beginners. This text offers a didactic path for those who already have basic computer skills and want to start a multidisciplinary introduction to embedded systems. It starts with the basic knowledge of electronics and hardware and then moves on to the basics to take the first steps from the point of view of the software, in a simple, practical and synthetic way.
